Triggers hobble Oso Home Opener

What a night for baseball in Raton as the Raton Oso's hosted the Trinidad Triggers for an evening of professional baseball.

Raton is one of the new teams to the Pecos League which consists of teams in New Mexico and the one Colorado team in Trinidad. Raton will play a 70 game season in 72 days with 34 games in Raton.

Trinidad took the lead and never really looked back as the Oso's just couldn't quite get things to gel offensively. Yet a ninth inning rally closed the score from the 5-1 lead that Trinidad did have to a 5-4 score. With the winning run on base Raton fell short as the batter struck out to end the game.
